Introduction This is the final level of the IFA qualification and demonstrates competence in all aspects of financial management plus the strategic management skills. Fellow will have completed the full examination structure and have a minimum of three years experience in a senior accountancy capacity. Aims of the Course The qualification aims to enable candidates to
- To develop in students a knowledge and understanding of the Principles Concepts and Models used in the Strategic Management Process and their Contribution to improving Business Performance.
- To develop in student the ability to evaluate and apply these concepts and models to diagnose, analyse and understand Organisational Problems.
. Prerequisites In order to satisfy the entrance requirements, all candidates must be at least 18 years of age or above. Completion of IFA Associate Management diploma or equivalent. It is also advisable for candidates to have ability in arithmetic to embarking on study for this qualification. Alternatively, they should have comparable prior knowledge and skills acquired through paid or voluntary work experience. English Language Requirements
- IELTS 5.5 (minimum)
- TOEFL 550 (TOEIC 776)
Qualification Awarded When qualified candidate will be awarded with the certificate for successful completion of IFA Fellow Membership. Mode of Assessment Achievement of these learning outcomes will be reflected in student responses to a three hours Written Examination. Awarding Body Institute of Financial Accountants. What next This qualification has been designed to provide the essential knowledge, understanding and skills required to complement and enable candidates to progress to other related qualifications, such as the foundation and bachelor degree in Financial Accounting and other finance related courses, many of which are also offered by London Essex College. Students who have completed the IFA examination structure at Technician and Associate Levels may study for the fellow examinations with University of Bolton through its open learning programme. When completed, this would give them a BA Honours Degree in Accountancy plus eligibility to apply to become a fellow member of the institute of Financial Accountant. IFA degree partnership with University of Bolton will provide IFA members and students with a route to a BA Honours in Accountancy. Duration 12-18 Months, Full Time/Weekdays/ Morning |
