What is it? OTHM (Organisation for Travel and Hospitality Management) provides a programme of professional qualifications that are designed for students Members to develop progressively the skill and knowledge that they will need to help them in their careers. Who is it for? OTHM qualifications are suitable for people who work or wish to work in the tourism and hospitality industry. . Work Experience Although it is desirable that Certificate students have some experience in the industry, no minimum is required. Diploma and Advance Diploma students are expected to either have work experience in the industry before joining the course, or be working part-time in the industry. Candidates should note that if they intend to study for further professional qualifications in the industry a certain amount of industrial experience would probably be required. OTHM provides opportunities for work placement to all students.
