What is it? The Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives (ATHE) was formed as a not to profit company in 2006. ATHE is an association of training centres who provide accredited courses throughout the world either by attendance at centre or by distance learning directly with ATHE in the United Kingdom. Who is it for? ATHE qualifications are suitable for people who work or wish to work in the tourism and hospitality industry. . ATHE Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism Management Introduction. The Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism Management aims to provide students with a specialised understanding of the operational aspects of the international tourism industry THE qualifications are suitable for people who work or wish to work in the tourism and hospitality industry. Prerequisites In order to satisfy the entrance requirements, all candidates must be at least 18 years of age or above. A three years diploma/degree in travel, tourism or hospitality management from a recognised college or university and a minimum of 6 months work experience in the industry. Exception can be made for applicants with at least 5 years experience in the industry and the standard of education as regards the English Language. English Language Requirements

Qualification Awarded When qualified candidate will be awarded with the certificate for successful of ATHE Postgraduate Diploma Tourism Management Level 7. Mode of Assessment An original research project on any agreed topic of about 10, 000 words. Grade for this diploma will be decided by a team of academic with an industry input.
