English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Full Time
 
 

This course is for you if you do not have the time, or do not want to study for a full degree. The course is designed to improve your English for social or professional reasons.

Many students studying the EFL programme are interested in preparing for one of the big Cambridge Exams (PET, FCE, CAE, or Proficiency). If you have an interest in Business English, we can offer you a Business English module at the right language level.

EFL courses help improves all the language skills of speaking (including pronunciation), listening, grammar, reading, and writing, but with the general aim of helping you to become an effective communicator in English.
Our EFL courses are available at four level( subject to demand) Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate, Higher Intermediate, and Advanced Level.


Teaching/learning methods and strategies

All aspects of general English are covered, including pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and grammar. Our aim is to help you to become a confident and effective communicator in English. There are also opportunities to take Cambridge Main Suite English exams if you wish.

The lessons are based on input from a course book. However, the teacher will also make use of other materials as appropriate, including magazine and newspapers articles etc. The lessons are highly communicative, which means that very often students are expected to work on activities and exercises in pairs or small groups.

Assessment

Presentations, group work, coursework, and examinations.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements vary according to the type and level of course you want to apply. We accept applicant who shows basic spoken and written English.
