In order to help students gain the appropriate level of English language competency. LEC students have the choice of full-time or part-time English courses leading to the IELTS qualification.

How your level will be assessed

Before commencing an English language course, students must sit a short IELTS test either on the day of registration at LEC or prior to this through your local British Council Office.
