What is it?

AAT is primarily an occupational qualification in the field of accountancy. It helps you gain practical understanding of relevant accounting skills and to develop key technical abilities.


Who is it for?

Ideal for those already working, or those taking the first steps to gain extra confidence in their chosen career of book keeping and accountancy. Research has shown that employers in both private and public sectors hold this qualification in high regard.

Prerequisites

None other that one of the following levels of proficiency in the English Language


English Language Requirements

  • IELTS 5.5
  • TOEFL 550 (TOEIC 776)
  • GCSE/ ‘O’ level or its International EquivalentM


Qualification Awarded

Once qualified you can apply for AAT full membership, which allows you to use the title of MAAT after your name.

What next

Qualified students can further their career by enrolling onto the ACCA qualification which is equivalent to a postgraduate degree.
